McCool creates your spitting image! ( with a lot of help from the GREAT SPIRIT IN THE SKY)
- intuitively knowing and revealing your spirit or character
charcoal, pastel, oil, acrylic or mixed media..
Formal portraits are popular but this artist's favorites are more casual, catching the individual or group with a certain look or expression that is somehow definitive of their nature.
A vintage family picture, once a damaged fading memento, can become a priceless heirloom portrait.
Sitting for your portrait is the ideal. However, travel expenses would add to the cost, not to mention your time. A viable alternative is a portrait photo shoot (dress and pose as you would for sitting).
An original oil or acrylic painting of the bride or couple makes a unique, unusual, one-of-a-kind wedding or anniversary gift!
When you capture those once in a lifetime moments in a work of art, you turn memories into a cherished family keepsake. Tell McCool about your idea for a Drawing or Painting. She will produce the image you have in mind.
McCool is also a graphic artist, often working freelance. The logo for the Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital, designed over 25 years ago, has stood the test of time.

We have lived in Wild Wood Hollow N of Stephenville, TX (Timber Hills Addition ) since Christmas of '92. Mint and I built our home with our own hands, every board, nail, rock and bit of mortar, all the plumbing and wiring. It is still a work in progress. We built above the flood line, as a bridge over A Walk To Remember Creek. Our livingroom spans the creek and becomes a greenhouse on the E bank. We lived off grid with only solar and wind power until 2009. Our place is one of the most humble in the area but it does have some nice features. Here are some photos of our cross creek retreat and some of our animals.
